Terms of Service

Acceptance

These terms are an agreement between you and Yerapter LLC (“Better Events”, “we”). By briefing us, buying a Better List, or using one, you accept them. This is a business-to-business service: you use it for a company or a professional purpose, not as a consumer.

The service

The deliverable is the Better List: every exhibitor at a covered trade show, profiled in plain language and scored against your brief, with tiers, role labels, competitor flags, and the evidence behind every score – quotes from the exhibitor’s own public materials, with source and date shown.

The flow: you send a brief – what you sell, or, if you are visiting to buy, what you need. We send back our read of it, and you confirm it before any scoring runs. Your Better List is delivered within 24 hours of that confirmed brief, as one private read-only link for your whole team, and is kept current until show week. Your scored shortlist can be exported to Excel or CSV.

One list covers one team at one show. We are not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any event organizer; show names identify the floors we cover, nothing more.

Your brief, and its confidentiality

Your brief, and our read of it, generate your list and nothing else. It is never shown to anyone outside our team, never pooled into shared data, and never used to build anything for another customer. Exhibitor profiles are built from public materials only, so nothing of yours enters anyone else’s list.

Keep the brief businesslike: what you sell or need, in your own words. Do not put trade secrets you may not share, or personal data about individuals, into it – the service does not need either. You are responsible for having the right to send us what you send.

The link and your team

Your Better List arrives as one unguessable link – no accounts, no seats, nothing to install. Share it freely within your team: everyone who works the floor with you may use it. But the link is the key – anyone holding it can read the list – so treat it like any confidential team document and forward it deliberately. We may replace a link on request, and we may revoke one that is being used in breach of these terms.

Payment, invoices, and refunds

Card purchases run through Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record: at checkout, Lemon Squeezy is the seller you buy from, and your purchase is also governed by Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms. Lemon Squeezy calculates and handles VAT – EU businesses with a valid VAT ID get the reverse charge applied automatically – and provides the invoice for your accounting. The price is the one shown on this site when you buy: per team, per show.

If card checkout does not suit your purchasing process, we also accept bank (wire) transfer: email [email protected] and we issue a proforma invoice. A wire purchase is made from Yerapter LLC directly, not through Lemon Squeezy, so Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms do not apply to it; your Better List is delivered once the transfer arrives.

Our guarantee: if your Better List is not worth the fee, we refund it. Email [email protected] with your order details, we read every one of these ourselves and answer promptly. The refund travels back the way the payment came: through Lemon Squeezy for card purchases, by bank transfer for wire ones.

Acceptable use

The Better List is for your team’s own business development at the show it covers. What you may not do with it:

• Republish or resell it, in whole or in part, or mirror it into a public or shared directory. Derived intelligence for your team is the product; a republished exhibitor list is not.
• Scrape it, or feed it into automated mass-outreach tooling.
• Pass it to another company as if they had bought it.

And one thing we want in writing: the list suggests whom to meet and what to talk about – you are the sender of any outreach you do with it, and you alone are responsible for that outreach complying with the laws that apply to you, including anti-spam and marketing-consent rules such as the GDPR and Germany’s § 7 UWG. Better Events sends no outreach on your behalf.

What you own, what we own

When you buy a Better List, you get a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use it – the link, the profiles and scores on it, and your exported shortlist – for your own business, indefinitely, within the acceptable-use rules above. Your exported shortlist may live on in your CRM; that is what the export is for.

We keep ownership of the service itself: the software, the methodology, the profile data, and the compiled work behind every list. Your brief stays yours; you give us only the right to use it to build your list.

Accuracy, and its limits

Every claim on a Better List traces to a source we show you – the exhibitor’s own public materials, with reference and date. That discipline is the product. It is also the honest limit: we read what companies publish, and companies publish imperfectly. Rows with thin public materials are flagged as thin, scored on what exists, and never padded with guesses.

So the list is provided as is: we do not warrant that it is complete, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose, and scores are judgments, not facts. Check the evidence we show you before you commit real money to a meeting or a deal – that is what it is there for.

Liability

To the extent the law allows: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses – lost profits, lost deals, lost data – arising from the service, and our total liability for any claim connected to a Better List is capped at the amount you paid for that list. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, such as liability for intent or gross negligence.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia, and disputes belong to the courts of Yerevan, Republic of Armenia. Your purchase contract at checkout is with Lemon Squeezy and is governed by Lemon Squeezy’s buyer terms.

Changes

If these terms change, we update this page and the date at the top. Changes apply from the moment they are published and never rewrite a purchase you already made – the terms in force when you bought your list are the ones that govern it.
